ITINERARY:

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi - Masai  Mara

Pick up upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and Transfer to Wilson Airport for your flight to Masai Mara. Upon arrival in Masai Mara you will be picked transferred to the Lodge Via a Game Drive en-route. Check in at the Lodge, Lunch provided and Afternoon at Leisure to enjoy the facilities that the lodge has to offer. In the Evening proceed for an introductory game drive, Dinner served and Overnight Stay in Masai Mara

 

Flight Departure at 10:00am and arrival at 11:00am. Check in time is at 9:00 AM hence the flight landing in Nairobi should be early morning as it would take some time for the clients to clear with Immigration and also Nairobi traffic to be taken into consideration for the transfer to Wilson Airport.

 

Timing:

6:00 AM to 7:00 AM    : Arrival and transfer to Domestic Airport

10:00 AM to 11:00 AM  : Domestic Flight Departure from Nairobi

11:00 AM to 12:00 PM  : Arrival and transfer in Masai Mara

12:00 PM to 15:00 PM  : Check in, Lunch and Afternoon at Leisure

15:00 PM to 18:00 PM  : Evening Game Drive

18:00 PM Onward       : Refresh, Dinner and Evening at Leisure

 

Masai Mara Game Reserve

This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. The Mara Game Reserve–one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see. Residents among the Park are: Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousands of plain game including Impala, Zebra, Topi, and both Thompson and grants Gazelles.

 

Day 2 - 4: Masai Mara

Early morning game drive and return to Lodge for breakfast. Afternoon spend at leisure to enjoy the Facilities that the Lodge has to offer. Lunch served before proceeding for an Evening Game Drive. Return to the Lodge, Dinner and Overnight Stay in Masai Mara

10:00 AM to 15:00 PM   :   Full Day Game Drive with Packed Lunch

 

However* The Customized Safari Vehicle and Driver Guide is at the Groups Disposal to be flexible to plan the timings and schedules that they prefer.

 

The clients can also be taken to a Masai Village on one of the Days and the Hippo View Point and this can be organized and scheduled with the dedicated Driver Guide.

 

Note* There is usually no Entrance at the Masai Village but usually a Donation of $20 per person that can be given to the Masai Moran before you tour the Village.

EXTRA OPTIONAL EXCURSION IN MASAI MARA:

 

Masai Mara Balloon Safari Experience:

Collected early morning from your accommodation in Masai Mara and transferred to the briefing point. While being briefed you will enjoy some light biting’s and beverages. After the briefing you will board and fly over the Savannah in the Balloon as you enjoy the sun rise in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon landing after this spectacular experience you will enjoy a Bush Champagne Full English Breakfast. Transfer back to your accommodation in Masai Mara.

Day 5: Masai Mara - Nairobi - Kilimanjaro - Tarangire

Full Continental Breakfast. Transfer to the Masai Mara Airstrip via a Game Drive en-route for your flight back to Nairobi. Arrive at Nairobi in the afternoon for your one way flight to Kilimanjaro.

 

Note: Flight Departure from Masai Mara is at 11:00am and arrival at 12:15pm and flight departure from Nairobi to Kilimanjaro is at 12:40pm and arrival at 1:15pm (Same Airline for Circuit)

 

Upon arrival you will be transferred to your Tarangire lodge with packed lunch via game drive en-Route. Check in into the lodge late in the Evening, then spend the rest of the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight Stay in Tarangire

08:00 AM to 10:00 PM   : Short morning Game Drive and Transfer

10:00 PM to 12:15 PM   : Departure Flight and arrival in Nairobi

12:15 PM to 12:40 PM   : land and check in Kilimanjaro Flight

12:40 PM to 13:15 PM   : Flight and arrival in Kilimanjaro Airport

13:15 PM to 17:30 PM   : Immigration and transfer to Tarangire

Day 6: Tarangire

After breakfast spend the whole day at Leisure enjoying the lodge facilities. Dinner and Overnight Stay in Tarangire

Day 7: Tarangire - Manyara

After Breakfast depart Tarangire for Manyara. Morning Game drive in Tarangire National Park and Afternoon Game Drive at Lake Manyara National Park with packed lunch, Check into the lodge, late in the afternoon. Spend the rest of the day at Leisure to enjoy the facilities that the lodge has to Offer. Dinner and overnight stay in Manyara.

Lake Mayara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park is known for the flamingos that inhabit the lake. During the wet season they inhabit the edges of the lake in flocks of thousands but they are not so present during the dry season. More than 400 species of birds inhabit the park and many remain throughout the year. Because of this Lake Manyara National Park is a good spot for bird watching. Visitors to the park can expect to see upwards of 100 different species of bird on any day. Leopards, Masai lions, cheetahs, elephants, blue monkeys, dik-dik, gazelles, hippopotami, Masai giraffe, impala, zebras and many more wild animals inhabit this park and many can be seen throughout the year. There is a hippo pond at one end of the park where visitors can get out of their cars and observe from a safe distance. The leopards and lions are both known to lounge in the trees while not hunting for prey.

 

Day 8: Manyara - Ngorongoro

Early Morning game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast then depart for Ngorongoro. Check in into the Lodge, Lunch served and Afternoon at Leisure to enjoy the facilities that the lodge has to offer. Dinner served and Overnight Stay in Ngorongoro.

Day 9: Ngorongoro  Crater

After breakfast descend 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a full day’s safari tour. In the evening back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay in Ngorongoro.

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater is an extinct volcanic caldera in the Eastern (Great) Rift Valley, northern Tanzania. It lies 75 miles (120 km) west of the town of Arusha. The caldera measures between 10 and 12 miles (16 and 19 km) across and has an area of 102 square

miles (264 square km). Its heavily forested rim rises 2,000 feet (610 metres) above the caldera’s floor to an elevation of 7,500 feet (2,286 metres). Ngorongoro is thought to have formed about 2.5 million years ago from a large active volcano whose cone

collapsed inward after a major eruption, leaving the present vast, unbroken caldera as its chief remnant.The caldera’s floor is predominantly open grassland. It is home to a diverse array of animals including elephants, black rhinoceroses, leopards, buffalo, zebras, warthogs, gnu (wildebeests), Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, and the densest population of lions in the world. The local Masai people also graze their livestock in the

crater. Lake Magadi, a shallow soda lake ringed by extinct volcanoes, is renowned as a habitat for great flocks of pink flamingos.

 

Day 10: Ngorongoro - Serengeti

After an early morning breakfast head to Serengeti National Park arriving at the lodge in good time for lunch. After lunch proceed for an introductory game drive. Later on back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay in Serengeti.

Day 11: Serengeti – Nairobi – International Departure

Full Continental Breakfast. Transfer to Serengeti Seronera Airstrip for your flight to Nairobi. Arrive at Nairobi Wilson Airport and you will be transferred to the airport for your return International Flight

 

Note: Flight Departure at 10:45am from Serengeti and arrival in Kilimanjaro at 12:30pm. Departure from Kilimanjaro at 14:30pm and arrival in Nairobi at 15:30pm

07:00 AM to 08:00 AM : Early Morning Breakfast and Departure

08:00 AM to 10:00 AM : Transfer to airstrip for flight to Kilimanjaro

 

10:45 AM to 12:30 PM : Flight and arrival In Kilimanjaro
